Last Minute Wrist Warmers II

The story:

Actually, these were the third pair I knitted but the first pair were part of the Yankees set I made for my nephew but weren't numbered separately. I also knitted a pair for my sister, and most recently, a couple more pairs.  

Like the last two pairs, this pair was also requested to be "like" the first pair, this time by my sister-in-law who wanted to wear them while running.  I knit one on the plane ride out to Florida early last year and the other while out there.  This is a quick, simple, fun pattern that I can see myself knitting many more times.

Knitting renaissance

I feel like I'm having a bit of a knitting renaissance, with some revived excitement created by my shopping spree at Purl last week and some new quick projects.

It's hard to take good photos on the plane with my iphone but I'm enjoying some dusty pink frothy goodness...

This is a tried and true pattern and good plane knitting. I went with Lorna's Laces Shepherd Worsted again for machine washability but in this colorway (44ns Old Rose) it feels like a whole different and more fun experience than before and actually I think I will be even more inclined to use this yarn again in the future.

And yes, we are back in Florida, this time in Orlando. I know, we were just on vacation, but this is more of a family trip to visit my brother-in-law, one we rescheduled a million times and passed the deadline of being able to delay it further. Disney here we come!
