Look, it's even prettier wound into a ball:
I'm thinking of knitting the Chevron Scarf from Last Minute Knitted Gifts, you know, along with the 363 other people who have current knit or are knitting it on Ravlery, but only using the one colorway like Julie does here. I looked to see if I could see a second colorway to go with it but I love the colors in the one I have so much that I am hesitant to mess up the elegant simplicity of them. I'll probably start out and see what I think. I was thinking of alternating between two ends of the same skein, but the color repeats are so short that I'm not sure it would make a difference.
Some of the colorways people have chosen are so pretty - see here, here and here for example.
Overall, I'm experiencing a bit of a knitting renaissance, having hunkered down on WIPs for the past couple of months. It's exciting to be looking at new yarns and projects and to have time to explore new patterns and ideas a bit more again.
I started working on a Chevron Scarf using leftovers of STR. No matter what the colors they ALWAYS look great together in this scarf.
Try it with another color and you might be pleasantly surprised.
And it's a fun knit, too. Great for mindless knitting times.

I love the elegant simplicity of the colorway too. I'm not sure I'd mix it with another color.
