I love the city. I don't take advantage of it nearly as much as I'd like to these days but today I had myself a nice morning of wandering and shopping, and the weather is just gorgeous.
I'm pretty exhausted though (I covered over sixty blocks), plus I am in Habu overload.
Their stuff is just gorgeous.
I know, that's not going to be much of a newsflash to many but wow, yeah. And it happens to be within walking distance from my office! I know where I'll be going when I need a little yarn pick-me-up...
I had heard and read of Habu before, but it wasn't until yesterday when I got sucked in by two projects mentioned over at Applehead (and the start of the first one posted this morning).
So of course I checked it out at Ravelry and... oh my... talk about gorgeous and intriguing...
Olgajazzy's version of the Kusha Kusha scarf was particularly alluring. Wow. Colourknits' version is also beautiful with gorgeous photos. I also love this photo of hers, and she has set up a flickr group for Habu also.
Don't worry, I will take photos, but for now I feel a giant need to recline. Yes, I am on vacation this week! I'll post again if I find the energy to take some photos later this afternoon...
